I just completed my first collage of 2021! This one is titled, Calm Before the Storm, and is on a 10" square cradle board.
For this piece, I chose to work with a predominantly gray scale color palette. I used the turquoise paper to accent and contrast with the various grays. I also incorporated some pieces of the papers I created using Citra Solv on National Geographic pages.
In terms of subject matter, this piece combines elements of landscape and architectural structures; both of which feature heavily in my body of work.
