Just completed a few small collages for some upcoming events. The 2 images on the top are both 4"x6" collages that were created for the upcoming National Collage Society's 2023 Small Format Exhibit. Both pieces have been mounted on an 8"x10" piece of mat board.
The piece on the left is titled, Divisions, and the piece on the right is Ethereal. I haven't made my final decision, but I think that Ethereal will be the piece I submit. The Small Format Exhibit will take place at the Kansas City Urban Public Library from April 8 - June 16, 2023.
The collage on the bottom, Garden View, is a 6" square collage that has been mounted on a 10" square mat board. I have made several collages in this size. This piece, and the others like it, will be part of the work that will be available in my booth at an upcoming art fair.
My acceptance into the Art Fair at Queeny
Park is my big news! This is one of the larger art fairs in the St. Louis area. I had been accepted into this fair in 2020 but, due to Covid, the event was cancelled. It was cancelled again for the fall event in 2022 due to some vandalism at the venue. I'm hoping that all goes according to plan for this year's event.
The fair takes place at the Greensfelder Recreation Center in Queeny Park on March 31, April 1 & 2.
The times for the event have not as yet been posted. Hope to see some of you there.
