In my previous post I had mentioned some upcoming exhibitions and an art fair. Due to Covid-19, the spring Queeny Park Art Fair has been cancelled. I'm disappointed, but know that it was the right thing to do. I will apply for the fall art fair that is held over Labor Day weekend.
My pastel entry for the Gateway Pastel Artists Member Exhibition is currently hanging at Green Door Gallery. The opening reception that was to have been held this Friday, March 20, has been cancelled.
I did get my entry sent off for the National Collage Society's Small Format Exhibition. Unfortunately, I neglected to photograph it before I mailed it off. Instead, I've posted the photos of the other two pieces that I created along with my entry. Both are in the postcard size small format of 4" x 6".
Put it in Writing is shown at the left and Golden Notes is shown below. Both pieces incorporate some of my hand printed paper as well as other papers.
I enjoyed working in this small format and plan to do more pieces in this size.
