Fall has arrived and there are multiple art events to let you know about.
First of all, I’m pleased to announce that one of my submissions to Gateway Pastel Artists Member Exhibit, Skyline, received an Honorable Mention Award!
I will be doing a collage magnet demonstration as part of the Old Webster Business District's Walktober Fest, which takes place the weekend of October 15-16. Green Door Art Gallery, where I am a resident artist, will be open both days and presenting live demonstrations by some of our amazing artists. My demonstration will be Sunday, October 16 from 11am - 12pm.
I am also participating in The Tiny Art Show, which will be on display Oct. 21 - Nov. 4, at Bonboni Mercantile located at 2246 Klemm St, St Louis, MO 63110. Store hours are Fri 10-3, Sat 10-3, and Sun 11-3.
I will have 5 business card-sized collages as part of the exhibition. The piece pictured on this invite, Black & Blue, is, one of my business card collages.
I recently submitted my first entry to one of the Collage Artists of America exhibits. The theme of that exhibit is, Inner Dialogues, and concerns the process artists use for planning and working out ideas as part of the creative process. My submission for the exhibit is, Modus Operandi, which incorporates key words that relate to my own process of creating.
I should hear on October 14 whether or not the piece is accepted.
And finally, I will be participating in the Artists Boutique Fine Art and Fine Craft show on November 5 & 6, 2022. This show takes place at the Kirkwood Community Center, 111 S. Geyer Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Admission is free and the show is open from 10am - 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
