My latest pastel painting, Green Goddess, is currently on display at Norton's Fine Art Gallery, located at 2025 S. Big Bend Blvd. in St. Louis, Missouri, as part of Gateway Pastel Artists 25th annual members exhibit, “The Luminosity of Pastel”. The exhibition runs through December 23, 2023. I hope that some of you can stop by the gallery sometime during the exhibit. This show never disappoints!
I’m also happy to announce that my collage, The Sum of Its Parts, was accepted in the St. Louis Artists’ Guild’s, Ann Metzger Memorial National Exhibition. The exhibition opens with a
reception on Friday, November 17, from 6-8pm, and runs through December 23, 2023. The St. Louis Artists' Guild is located at 12 N. Jackson Rd. in Clayton, MO.
This past Saturday, I taught not one, but two collage classes at Green Door Art Gallery. The morning started with another wonderful group in my Art of Mixed Media Collage class, and in the afternoon I taught my new course, Collage Grid Sketches. There are a few bumps I’ll iron out for the next time I offer the course, but it was fun. Thanks to all of my amazing students! They all created some beautiful collage fodder and unique grid sketches.
