Finally! It seems like forever since I've created a piece of art. May was a busy month with travels and family visits. It feels good to be creating again.
This latest collage is entitled, Natural Progression. I made five 3" square collages designed to build a unified composition. Handmade ceramic tiles and metallic beads were added for some dimensional embellishments. The piece is mounted on matboard measuring 8"x 21". It is priced at $190.
I have created several of these vertical compositions. This piece has a less varied color palette than some of my other vertical pieces. It was challenging to create a different arrangement for each individual collage square while still using some of the same papers for the different elements of shape, pattern, color, and texture.
I'm ready to put my hand to another collage!
