I just completed my latest mixed-media collage, “Moonglow”. Once again, I began with a gel print, in the upper left corner. When I start with such an image, I build the composition without a clear idea of the end result. I mix and match various papers, shapes and colors; adding and subtracting as I go along. Design elements and principles are always part of the process. And so is having fun!
