After some slow progress, (life happens!) I've finally completed some new collage pieces!
"Autumn Moon" features some of my hand printed papers in the background. I actually began with the background collage but felt that it was lacking on its own merit. I experimented with several different ideas but liked the addition of the tree branch overlay.
The second image shows what will probably be the first creations in my Grayscale Series. These are 4, 8" x 8" mixed-media collages in which I limited my palette to grayscale and neutral values. Even with the limited palette, the possibilities area endless.
